Oak Park's Skiba still soaring at the top of Div. III rankings

Following her fourth victory in as many races Thursday at the Tri-Valley League meet at Malibu High, Oak Park junior Melissa Skiba remained the top-ranked runner in Div. III, according to the Dyestatcal.com state individual rankings compiled by Doug Speck and Mike Kennedy.

Skiba also boasts victories in the junior class race Sept. 12 at the Seaside Invitational, Sept. 17 at the Oak Park Invitational and Sept. 27 in the Div. III race at the Stanford Invitational.

La Reina of Thousand Oaks junior Sarah Pearson, once the top-ranked runner in Div. IV, is No. 6 and Paraclete of Lancaster sophomore Melissa Bauer is No. 9.
