Boys basketball: Two UCLA recruits may go head-to-head

| | Comments (0) |

I was talking with Sylmar coach Bort Escoto while watching a full slate of NFL games this afternoon and Escoto said he is trying to set up a scrimmage with Windward of Los Angeles.

Normally this would just be a another low-key scrimmage but Sylmar features UCLA-bound Tyler Honeycutt and Windward has Renaissance Academy transfer Anthony Stover, who also recently committed to the Bruins.

Escoto gave no actual date or time but did say he was going to call Windward coach Miguel Villegas and try to make it happen.

More to come as details become clearer.

Stay tuned...
