Bridge School Benefit
John Mayer, Metallica, Tom Waits, Neil Young and Eddie Vedder are headlining the 21st annual Bridge School Benefit concerts Oct. 27-28. Also on this year's bill are Tegan and Sara, Regina Spektor and Jerry Lee Lewis.
Tickets for the pair of Bridge concerts, which will take place at the Shoreline Amphitheater near San Francisco, will go onsale Sunday (Sept. 9) via Live Nation.
Waits, who previously played at one of the 1999 Bridge concerts, will perform with the Kronos Quartet. Vedder, who has been in the Bridge lineup eight times before, will be backed by Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and ex-Peppers/ex-Pearl Jam drummer Jack Irons. Young, who hosts the annual, mostly-acoustic event, has played every year since launching the benefit in 1986. Proceeds from the shows support the Bridge School, the Northern California school for children with physical and speech impediments, co-founded by Young's wife Pegi.

What a wonderful feeling to attend a concert or a festival. I really feel overwhelmed whenever I attend especially some hot events. The Bridge School Benefit is one of the festivals where great artist perform. I wish I’ll attend this year. I was wondering if I would afford ticket prices. But a friend has just found a site where to compare ticket prices for free. I’ll look for the cheapest prices because my purse is thin and can’t afford some huge prices.
