Lipsky wins qualifer for U.S. Amateur

David Lipsky (La Canada) won a sectional qualifier for the U.S. Amateur, which will be held at Pinehurst later this month. Lipsky, a Northwestern golfer, shot 6-under for the qualifier at Glen Ellyn, Ill.
