Tiger Woods' six-stroke advantage heading into the final round has been cut in half.

Jim Furyk birdied both the par-4 seventh and the par-3 eighth to move to 16 under and pull within three shots of Tiger.

Furyk has five birdies and one bogey through the first eight holes.
