Kim qualifies for U.S. Open

Anthony Kim, who grew up in Studio City, has qualified for the U.S. Open. He holed a bunker shot on the first hole of an 11-man playoff and parred the third and final playoff hole to qualify. Kim is the youngest player on the PGA Tour but had to go through local and sectional qualifying to earn a spot in the U.S. Open.
