Greiner moves on

Joe Greiner (COC) has made it to the semifinals of the California State Amateur championship at Monterey Peninsula Country Club. Greiner beat Tim Honeycutt 4 and 3 on Friday. Greiner will face John McClure in the semifinals tomorrow, and if he wins, the final will be in the afternoon tomorrow.
Greiner already has completed two years at COC but will remain a third year to finish his AA degree and also will serve as a volunteer coach for Gary Peterson.
