This has gotta be such an agonizing time for Oprah Winfrey. Repeatedly molested herself as a child, Oprah flew to South Africa over the weekend to visit her academy for underprivileged African girls where there have been allegations of abuse. It's the second time in the last few weeks that Oprah has made an emergency visit to the school and this time, she asked parents for forgiveness. "I've disappointed you. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry," Oprah said to families in an emergency meeting at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy south of Johannesburg, the South African news site News24.com reported. ..... The widow "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin says her husband had a feeling he would die young. "He wanted to be here for the kids, and yet he always had that feeling something was going to happen early on," Terri Irwin says in an interview with an Australian television station. "He was such a frightening force of nature here on Earth. I'm sure he's out on his way to sink some Japanese whaling ships right now." ..... OJ Simpson better get another dream team to defend him. A third defendent in the alleged Vegas hotel room hold-up has struck a plea deal and will testify against the disgraced more football star ..... and finally, some sad news: Country singer Porter Wagoner died on lung cancer on Sunday. He was 80. Wagoner helped launch the career of Dolly Parton and was her singing partner in 1974 when they had a bitter professional bust-up that resulted in legal action. But the two remained friends to the end.....
