Updated Valley Crime Map
Since we last updated the map July 23, police have reported to us 17 significant crimes in Van Nuys, North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Canoga Park, and Arleta. There were six robberies with one that resulted in a shooting reported, five burglaries, one attempted robbery, one attempted burglary, a carjacking, a hate incident, and a shooting. The crimes are spread out but there appears to be a cluster of three burglaries and an attempted burglary that occurred over 10 days in July near Ventura Boulevard in Van Nuys and Sherman Oaks. It's unknown if they are connected.
