Speier tries to lighten mood

| | Comments (0) |

Justin Speier isn't on the roster for the ALDS, so he took it upon himself to lighten the mood in the clubhouse Thursday a day after the Game 1 defeat to the Red Sox.
Dressed in a wet suit and wearing flippers on his feet, Speier burst into the clubhouse shouting, "Is there practice today? Is there practice today?" To make the scene complete, Speier was carrying a Boogie Board and wet down his hair and face.
The scene drew big laughs, especially when Speier twice nearly stumbled while trying to walk with the flippers.
