Red Sox take the field

| | Comments (0) |

The Red Sox are getting in their work at Tuesday's workout (mostly batting practice), while Angel Stadium gets its final touches for Game 1 of the ALDS on Wednesday. The top of the dugout suites, right behind home plate, was freshly painted and now reads "Welcome to the 2008 Division Series," with a pair of ALDS logos included.

There are also oversized ALDS logos that were painted onto the field in foul territory on the first- and third-base sides. There also is an Angels logo painted behind home plate. Red, white and blue bunting is hanging from the upper deck. Otherwise, the ballpark looks ready to go for Wednesday.

Manager Mike Scioscia and Game 1 starter John Lackey are due into the interview room in an hour or so.
